BILL CARTWRIGHT
(MBOINZ, Licensed Building Practitioner)
Bill is a third generation carpenter in his family who started as an apprentice carpenter in 1970 and went on to become a contractor for 9 years. He then joined the council as a building inspector for 9 years; he then went on to manage the building inspectors and compliance division at Auckland City Council for 5 years. Bill has spent the past 10 years as a private Building Consultant. Bill has also remained active as a builder. Bill is currently a Licensed Building Practitioner and a member of the Building Officials Institute of New Zealand.
Bill has extensive background in the application of the legislation and necessary building requirements. He is experienced with the Building Act and Building Code requirements for residential dwellings.
Bill has years of experience liaising and working with contractors, architects, designers, home owners, Body Corporations, Council and Government bodies. He also has experience in supervision of contractors.
Over the years Bill has met many people in associated areas of expertise and continues to network with them. If there should be an issue that is outside his scope of expertise then an introduction and referral can be made.
The services provided by Bill are not only appreciated by home owners and prospective buyers, but also by body corporates, solicitors and lending institutions.
